I just clicked on some Featured Content and it was an anorexic girl's site with links to a whole load of anorexic blog rings. Girls (maybe guys too?) post up pictures of themselves with ribs protruding and others compliment them on how skinny they are. Time counters priding themselves that their last meal was 1 day 5 hours and 25 minutes ago. Food diaries with a total calorie count of one day being 215. Nicole Richie as their idol.
And in juxtaposition, the other people in this world who are starving but not by their own will. Read this.

ridiculous isn't it? i clicked on a link before and nearly had a fit. it's mind boggling that someone would want to do this to their body...and then be listed on featured content.
i read thousandthdish's entry and will be passing it on to others
I came over from SistaLikeWhoaa after seeing your comment and getting curious. I also agree; the other ones that are horrible are the sites for cutters, but I rarely see those featured. But you know? I don't look at featured that much. I'm never on it, the same people always are, and it's like a clique I'm not a part of. As far as eating disorders, I have a friend going through chemo, and she says her friends tell her in all seriousness that she looks great, SO THIN, they're JEALOUS. It's not just teens; these are 40-year-old women. Sick, warped and gross.
